Contingency of NF - And in Internet It Dates Center - IDC

The simplified, efficient solution and of low cost for emission of Electronic Receipt.

Any enterprise is exposed to several operational risks, I eat "apagão" electrically, you fail in the system of refrigeration of the servants, indisponibilidade in the access to the Internet, and up to boycott for dissatisfied collaborators.

That can bring in the loss of much more important of the business: operational capacity and strategic information, impactando straightly in the turnover.

The NFe of Brazil knows of the necessity of a technological safe environment for his clients and offer the Solution of Contingency of NF - And in Internet It Dates Center – IDC.

NFe Contingency in Internet Data Centers - IDC

A simplified, efficient, and low cost solution for issuing Electronic Invoices.

Know more about our infrastructure and our contingency solution below:

The NFe do Brasil Network

By means of our own backbone, NFe do Brasil connects itself to the Primus Telecommunications world network in New York. This world network consists in:

• 35 own fiber optics systems interconnecting 29 countries;
• 22 world network concentrators (Switches) with routing and backbone redundant systems;
• 350 POPs (Points of Presence) in the world with independent Internet access;
• Land stations for satellite signal reception in 10 countries;
• 190 peering agreements throughout the world with key telecommunications operators;
• 10 Level 5 Data Centers throughout the world;
• Canada’s largest telecommunications operation;
• Australia’s third largest telecommunications operation.

Internet Data Center – IDC

Two world class sites in the following locations:

• São Paulo;
• Santa Catarina.
Accesses monitored by network center operations supervisors by means of Digital AXIS cameras that digitally transmit video through the monitoring network.

Fire-fighting systems

All the vault rooms are protected against fire by means of an air particle detection system, which triggers an alarm owing to the simple fact of a heated cable, hence preventing fires of a more serious outcome. In case of fire, a FM-200 gas flooding system is triggered which eliminates oxygen from the vault room’s environment and puts out the fire’s source.

Physical safety

The IDC’s physical environment is provided with 24x7 (24 hours per day, 7 days per week) surveillance to monitor the building’s entries and exits. Besides a physical presence, the IDC is provided with a perimetral monitoring system invasion presence detection that warns in real time of any movement over the building’s fences.

Air-conditioning systems

The vault room’s air-conditioning system is supplied by Liebert, a world reference in air-conditioning systems for high technology environments. The system employs air chillers that do not depend on water cooling towers to work. Each vault room has redundant systems, which ensures the correct temperature and humidity throughout the room.

Electricity supply systems

NFe do Basil’s IDC is provided with electricity from two different subs-stations, in order to ensure a permanent supply from the public network. In case of a failure, no-break systems and generating units take over the supply to all the vault rooms.

No-break systems

Liebert no-break systems ensure total performance by the server systems for at least two hours at full load, a more than enough period for start-up of the generating units that supply the entire building (including offices) in case of an electricity failure.

Generating Units

Two generating units of 560 kVa each ensure electricity supply for an indefinite period in case of failures in the public electricity supply. Both generators will begin to operate automatically and keep the entire building in operations, ensuring maximum availability of the IDC’s systems.

Connectivity

NFe do Brasil’s IDC is assisted by optic fiber and wireless redundant systems by all the major telecommunications carriers such as Intelig, Embratel, CTBC, Brasil Telecom, Telefônica, AT&T / Telmex, Telemar , Comsat, and Unitelco, thus providing connectivity and agility to immediately meet the needs of our customers’ innumerable profiles. All these links are mutually redundant, i.e.: all operate independently but are able to take over another one’s traffic in case of a breakdown in one of the circuits. The entire network infrastructure is based on equipment from Cisco Systems, using Cisco 7513, Switch 6509 and PIX Firewall routers for edge routing.

Monitoring and operation

Security, monitoring, and control. Permanent monitoring of services and environmental conditions for NFe do Brasil’s IDC. The entire NFe do Brasil infrastructure solution is in accordance with TIER III The Uptime Institute, which can provide an availability rate in the region of 99,982% and downtime of less than 90 minutes per annum.

Disater Recovery

• Site Backup;
• Work Posts;
• Technical support team;
• Contingency simulations.

Approval Room – Nfe do Brasil provides customers with a room with telephone and Internet for all the maintenance that may be required on equipment / systems. The room is isolated and will allow customers to work in private and in safety.

Contingency Site

Hot Site – Hot Site is an area for customers exclusively, in which customers will pay a monthly fee and will be ensured availability of an environment for immediate use.
