The Electronic Bill of Lading CTe came to replace the former bill of lading and all the bureaucracy and costs associated with the former system.
NFe do Brasil’s solution meets the whole of current legislation and amendments that are put in place, which allows a ready integration in its environment with minimum changes in ERP, limited to the supply of new information requested by SEFAZ. In addition to printing DACTEs, it also extends usefulness to NFe, NF-laser, CTRC, collection vouchers, among other documents that require variable data.
Further advantages:
• Lower operating cost;
• Allows remote customer-base printing of DACTEs through the web (Cargoes exit from customers with bills of lading);
• Cost reductions in preparing forms;
• Cost reductions in document storage, in physical space as well as in management;
• Simplified ancillary obligations (does away with AIDF);
• Reduced waiting time in fiscal border checkpoints;
• One sole tool for compliance with every modal;
• Automatic printout of copies through the web, with login control based on customer taxpayers’ registry number.

The Electronic Bill of Lading (CTe) is now a reality in Brazil. Approved on September 24, 2007 by Conselho Nacional da Política Fazendária (CONFAZ), the CTe came to replace the former bill of lading and all the bureaucracy and costs associated with the former system.
Digitalizing and validating data does away with the system that had to comply with the complex procedure of five printed copies, and gives way to digitalized data that accelerate the process, because such as in the case of Electronic Invoices (NFes), the complete information is transmitted before the goods exit.
Despite the great similarity with NFes, CTes have a number of details that need to be considered. An example of this is the fact that NFes have a seller and a purchaser, while CTes is intended for the Issuer, Acquirer of Services, Addressee, Sender, and Receiver, which increases the transaction’s complexity.
NFe do Brasil already has this service ready for you to enter into the project safely and quickly, reaping the benefits provided by the project. The NF end CTe were officially launched in São Paulo in August 2008.
In addition to needs such as toll vouchers, originating documents, weight, volume, weight found, among other data required on the CTe, NFe do Brasil is concerned with internal operations such as rationalizing printing resources and transmitting the bill’s data in the company’s network.

The system will also print DAMCE (Ancillary Electronic Cargo Manifest Document) in 2008, which will begin immediately following the official CTe pilot.
